I bought a Dachshund puppy from a shady pet store in Lewisville, TX called Petland. DO NOT GO THERE. Dr Waggener helped bring Darla back to life. She had horrible kennel cough, coxcidia, and another type of worms. She spayed Darla yesterday and she is already feeling great. The entire staff is phenominal and they not only make you feel good about your pet, they make you completely comfortable with leaving your animal in their hands. I couldn't be happier with our vet. Moving to NYC in a few months and I will be so sad to say goodbye to the staff at SB Animal Hospital. Dr. Waggener, can you come to Brooklyn with me, Jake and Darla??? PLEASE
Pros: Super easy to get an appointment. SMall office so lots of individual attention.
Cons: Our dog doesn't like leaving because she loves the whole staff.

I have a nervous dog and Dr. Waggener does a great job treating him and keeping him calm and cooperative. Her "bedside manner" is great and she seems like she really cares about my dog's welfare. Parking has never been an issue for me (sorry South Boston Library!) and I've always been able to get appointments that are convienent to my schedule. I feel like my yorkie is in great hands and will continue to bring him to the South Boston Animal Hospital.
