Editorial Review for Venezia – by Citysearch Staff
In Short
With a splendid view of the Boston Skyline, Venezia is a popular celebratory spot for Dorchester, Southie and Quincy family occasions and office get-togethers. Deviations from the traditional menu include bourbon-glazed short rib, French onion soup and an entree of seared halibut with fresh lobster meat in a citrus broth. Fans of old school fare enjoy faithful intrerpretations of fettuccini alfredo, lobster bianco and veal saltimbocca.

Insider Tips
Look GoodIt's usually dress-up time, so don't wear beach attire.
The ExtrasNo map will get you here unless you know local roads. At Neponset traffic circle (I-93, exit 12), follow the ramp for I-93 North. Make a sharp right just before joining the Expressway, and follow the Venezia signs.

This is an unbelievable restaurant right on the water. This place has some of the best views in the city. The menu is great and they have an extensive wine list to complimnet it. They also have a huge private party room. I highly recommend this place, if you do go make sure you check out the winery across the street.
Pros: wine list, views
Cons: nothing

With one of the most breathtaking views Boston has to offer, the Venezia restaurant will please the senses as well as the palette. I have never left unsatisfied. We make this our monthly night out and my office regularly holds functions there. Even with it's new renovation and function facility, Venezia retains it's high quality of service. And as far as the food goes.......You would have to travel to Italy to dine any better. We give it a 10!
Pros: portions, view, parking
Cons: hard to find
