Great Date Spot. My husband and I recently went to Ecco for the first time. We had no idea the place existed. The ambiance is really nice, and at the same time a relaxed atmosphere. Their martini selection was one of the best and all 3 I had were delicious. Food was wonderful too. If you're looking for something different, I highly recommend Ecco. They've got a great casual bar area as well for casual drinks!! It was a nice surprise to see they had on site parking as well...hard to find in most places.

Amazing Bread, High Quality Food, Favorite's of East Boston. I have been to Ecco several times and have been impressed with the food every time. My boyfriend and I like to sit at the bar and always end up having conversations with the people near us. The soups, bread and entrees are so yummy I wish I could go there more often. But the prices are a little on the higher side so we reserve it usually for a treat. You can sit at the bar or in the comfy booths or tables. The atmosphere is the only upscale chic bar/restaurant in the area. So it's a nice substitute instead of going into Boston. Of course the north end is only a t-stop away. Definitely try it.

Nice Atmosphere,. I went to Santarpio's for dinner last night with my husband and then we went over to Ecco for a drink. I ordered a glass of wine and the bartender literally took three bottles of wine and poured sips from each bottle. It was so odd, they charge $9 for a glass, I should get a fresh glass of wine. I did drink it and didn't complain, looking back on it I should have complained.
