Awful experience with delivery for very good food.. We ordered for delivery via Foodler: BBQ/jerk chicken, wings, "bluebarry pie," and banana bread. The email for confirmation said that it would be delivered around 8:40pm, 40 minutes after the order was placed. At 8:40pm, the restaurant called to let us know that they were out of "bluebarry pie" and if we would like to have a substitute dessert. This was our first sign that our order was going to be late because they had not even left the restaurant when they were supposed to be delivering our food. At 9:15pm, we received a call from the delivery person, who was lost and claimed that there was no such address as ours (She was on Berkeley St instead of East Berkeley). We gave her directions to our place and told her cross streets. At 9:45pm, she called again, stating that her GPS was giving her completely wrong directions. She was only 2 blocks away and still could not figure out where we were. We gave her directions again. At 10:10pm, she finally arrived, three hours after we had ordered. She apologized for being late and offered to take off the delivery fee and dessert costs. When we opened up our food it was cold, and the order was incorrect. We ordered chicken and wings and instead received 1 large order of wings and 1 small order of wings, exactly the same. The next day we contacted the restaurant and asked to speak to a manager about the charges. He stated that the delivery person did not have the right to change our order and would do nothing about it. He said that he would relay our message to the owner but would not take our contact information. The food was good but not worth the three hour wait.
