Great Music and Great Food. My Husband and I enjoy Slades every time we go. Slades like I mentioned before has great music and great food. At the time I wrote my first review my husband and I were boyfriend and girlfriend, we have since married and are enjoying every moment.

We go to Slades at least Once a week or when we can. We enjoyed it then and we still do to this day!!!

Hope you enjoy Slades as much as we do!!! :-)

Slade's Chicken Is all I have to Say. OMG live there food...& the drinks are slaming....also it's like a black cheers everyone knows your name. It's like family in there. the Dj's are always playing the hottes music and everyone dance's love it

GREAT PLACE FOR HAPPY HOUR. from RI we wanted to go out for Happy hour in Boston and found SLADES it was great. Excellent place to listen to Jazz Music and the food was soooooo good we had the fish but just had to get the chicken wings because everyone around us was having it , loved it HAD TO GET 3 ORDERS OF IT TO GO !!

Great Place for Food & Drinks. We enjoyed going to Slades Bar & Grill. My boyfriend and I go to Slades at least once a week. They have good music, great food and Drinks. We love to go and relax and enjoy the atmosphere and each other.

It is a great place to go for couples as well as groups. I recommend anyone try slades at least once and you will soon find out why they are so highly rated.

P.s You must try the Chicken livers with Hotsauce!!!

Great Food, Entertainment and a Cool Place to Chill After Work, Karaoke to entertain you on Friday nights. Slades is one of Boston's coolest places to go after work. Excellent food & drinks, easy going crowd and usually something going on after work. On Fridays from 7pm to 11pm Slades now has Karaoke. But this isn't Karaoke like you would normally expect. The singers here are skilled and the fill the bar with classic R & B from Luther, Aretha, Marvin, Whitney and a host of others. If your Lucky Boston's own Godfather of Soul a James Brown impersonator will take the stage and knock you out of your seat. So between the great soulf food, especially those chicken wings, with an icy cold brew from the bar and a host of great singers, its the best place in Boston to kick back and forget about the past week.

Great wings. I like Slades. Thursday nights they play old school R&B and rap and the music is great!

It can get a little crowded but the music is so good who cares!.

They have a nice crowd of folks and I would recommend this a spot to check out if your in the South End/Roxbury area.

Boston's Best Chicken. If you're looking for LIVE Music, a good DJ, good-hit-the-spot Soul Food, potent drinks at a reasonable price and good people to mix, mingle & party with... Then Slade's is the place to be! They've got something for everyone. Tasty food, good drinks, Live Music, a variety of DJs, nights for the younger partiers, nights for the older partiers, giveaways, gameshows, KARAOKE and to top it all off - $5 ADMISSION on most nights after 10pm (other nights are FREE all night) - Can't beat that!! Most places charge between $10 & $20 admission.
