Gem of the South End. The other review is right! This place is incredible. How could I have ignored it for so long? EVERYTHING is prepared freshly daily. Sandwiches are made with meat that is carved in front of your eyes and served on delicious, fresh bread. AND you get a choice of two, count 'em two sides... all freshly prepared salads and veggies. I had amazing sweet potato fries and a good stir fry. All of this for $7. The patries and baked goods are also fresh and so good you want to melt. It's likely a ton of butter... and keep it coming! Great service is the cherry on top! This place is wonderful.

The best kept secret in the South End. This is an amazing place for breakfast or lunch. The only thing I can find wrong is that it isn't open for dinner and is not open on the weekends. The food is amazing, fresh, plentiful, and inexpensive. It is a small cafe, but has amazing atmosphere. The people who work there are friendly, and give large portions. The food is all made fresh, and the cook uses the best ingredients. I was only in Boston for the summer, and it seems like I ate here more than I did at home.
