Laidback sandwiches & espresso

Thank you, Earl of Sandwich, for putting tasty things between two slices of bread. The sandwich is one of my favorite meals. And the sandwiches at Francesca's are divine.

I've had almost every sandwich on the list... and they are all fantastic. My personal faves are the Ho Humm (when I'm feeling like veggie)s and the Love me Tender (when I'm feeling like pig). They also do a fab tuna salad and chicken salad. Also love their Mini n Mista / Cup & a half combos with a mini sandwich of the day on an English muffin and either a salad or cup of soup of the day. There's 3 soups each day, something for everyone, and I've never been disappointed.

I can't vouch for breakfast, because as much as I love that particular meal and its foods, and the fact that Francesca's serves it all day, I can't not get a sandwich when I go.

The coffee beverages and milkshakes are also top notch. My personal fave is the Almond Joy.

Also, Big Sexy Chocolate Cake. You had me at Big. And Sexy. And Chocolate. Hell, you had me. And I had you right back. And you are appropriately named.

Great place for late-night coffee

Neat place in South End offers great people watching and good atmosphere to meet up with a friend for coffee and dessert. Great array of desserts and coffee to choose from. All are great! Highly recommend it.

Hit & Miss

I live in the south end and go to francescas occassionaly. Unfortunately the service is very hit or miss. Sometimes the waiters are efficient, but several times they have confused our order, taken forever, even charged us a bunch for tap water. The beverage selection is very fun.
