Extraordinaryily Knowledgeable. I've been going to West Newton Hearing for about five years, they have been extremely accommodating. The support that I have received has been way beyond my wildest expectation.

I've seen both Debbie and Rhonda and they are both terrific.

Top Notch Hearing Aid Professionala. I am a 60 year old male. During the past several years I have 'driven my wife and family crazy" with my hearing loss.

Doing business with West newton Heaing Center has changed my life for the better. I did not realize how good the new technology hearing aids are..

And people I am speaking with can not even see the aids on me. They are so small.

My Mwife says that i speak much softer now and listen to the TV at a normal level.

Even crowded and loud areas do not bother me anymore.

I highly recommeng this group of professional audiologist.. Rhonda is the audiologist that fitted me.

Highly recommended. I have been seeing Debbie at West Newton Hearing Center for over twenty years. I have seen her work well with both children and adults. She is always very knowledgeable about the hearing aids and other tools that can help me with my hearing loss and almost intuitive when it comes to understanding any issues that arise from being hard of hearing. The office is very warm and friendly, and I have always been able to get a last minute appointment during emergencies such as a broken hearing aid. I highly recommend this place.

The Best!!. I have taken my mother to several places and she has never been as happy as she is with all the people at this Center. Rhonda was so empathetic - listened to all my mother's stories and helped her feel comfortable with her new hearing aids. When my mother had a question she called and was given the same attention and warmth that she received with each visit. Go here if you want excellent service - the latest equipment - and peace of mind, knowing your loved ones wil be treated with dignity.

Terrific audiologists, Great with people.. Last year my family finally persuaded my mother to get her hearing tested at the West Newton Hearing Center. Her audiologist, Rhonda Ruby, instantly knew how to make my mom feel at ease. After giving her a hearing test, she calmly explained the results to my mother and informed her that while she did have a hearing loss, there was a solution -- digital hearing devices.

Even though I think my mom had always been opposed to wearing hearing aids, Rhonda was soon able to help her see how much better her life could be with them. Then Rhonda showed my mom the hearing aids she recommended -- they were so tiny, my mom was stunned. Once in my mom's ears, you could hardly tell she had them -- except for the first time in years, she could hear everything we were saying. Even better, we could finally turn down the TV, which had been blaring in our ears!

Now my mom is so thrilled, she actually takes them out of her ears to show people how small they are. Usually when my mom decides she's not going to do something, no one can change her mind. Thank goodness Rhonda was there. She was respectful of my mom's feelings and concerns, and she clearly is a great audiologist.

The funny thing is that lately my teenage kids have been telling me I have a hearing loss. After all the resistance my mom gave to getting her hearing tested, I was determined not to be the same. (Although I suddenly totally understood how she felt all those years.) Anyway, I went in to have Rhonda test my hearing. Turns out I hear great! You have no idea how great it felt to show my kids my audiogram. I pinned it on the refrigerator!

Here's my advice. If you have a family member who you think has a hearing loss and you live anywhere in the Boston area, go to the West Newton Hearing Center. If they don't like the idea, offer to go with them and then go out to one of the lovely nearby restaurants for lunch! And while you're there, get your own hearing tested too!!!

Horrible Service. I was very disappointed with the service of one particular audiologist, Rhonda. I was appalled with the way she treated me. She was EXTREMELY snobby and did not take the time with me at all. I had new ear molds and let me tell you, they were HORRIBLE, they made feedback, cut into my ear, and so forth. After complaining about it, I had to wait TWO weeks before I could see Rhonda about it. (I work full time, and I am only available in the evening.) She did not symphatize with me at all, just said that i need to get used to wearing new molds. I agree with her on that, however, I do know after more than 25 years of wearing hearing aids, they should not be cutting into your ear. She need to understand that she is not the one wearing them and suffering the pain of molds cutting in your ear. She did horrible job with the tubes as well, never once making sure that they fit properly, so I made her keep them extra long, so I could cut them myself as soon as I went home.

I usually go to an audiologist in the North Shore area, and he is AMAZING, very very pleasant to work with. He knows what he is doing and he always go out of his way to make sure I am 100% happy with everything, and if I wasn't, he will work with me until I was happy. I changed audiologists because I moved out of North Shore, but after this experience with Rhonda, I will be more than happy to drive one hour to see my old audiologist.

Only one good thing out of this whole situation is that I will be getting new molds to replace the horrible molds I have right now. At least Rhonda was able to get me new replacement for my molds without paying. (For $140 dollars, I expect my molds to be fabulous!!!)
