Very cramped seats

We went to see Bob Marley, comedian on April 3. We had good seats in the Mezzanine section. The seats are made for midgets. There is very little, if any, leg room. It makes for a very squished show. Overall the theater was OK, but I am sad that the Comedy Connection is here. They have many wonderful acts, but I would not return to this venue to watch a performance due to the very cramped seating.

Very disappointed

I attended the theater on January 16, 2009 to see Lisa Williams. My mother and husband came along and when we arrived we were VERY shocked. We purchased floor seats, reserved seating for the event, they were the most expensive out of all the sections. We paid the most money for the WORST seats. Anyone who sat on the floor knows the disgust I'm feeling. Each table was crammed next to each other. Once you sat at your table, there was no getting up. A definite fire hazard, if there was ever a fire, there was no getting out. All the isles were completely blocked, so there was no getting up to use the bathroom. Our table was literally jammed against the stage. My poor mother, who's birthday we were celebrating, had to have one arm on the stage and by the end of the night our necks were stiff from trying to look at Lisa. For anyone who was pregnant or even on the bigger side, couldn't sit comfortably, I'm only 100 pounds and I was so uncomfortable. I wanted to ask if i could move to any other seat up in the balcony, those were the seats to have, comfy, roomy, and they were the cheapest!

Not to mention, they didn't serve any alcohol. Overall, the staff was rude, the set up was horrible. I hope they get a big fat fine for the hazards they cause.

We're not on the farm with "Wilbur"!

I went to see The Fray on Wednesday night! My boyfriend had never seen them perform and we were both really excited for the show! We didn't eat beforehand, but figured there would be some food there.

So we arrive, go into the main doors and are motioned to our "Section 5 Floor seats" (the tickets were marked as General Admission) in a little penned in area way at the back of the theater. This was not really acceptabe, but what choice did we have.

Needing to go to the bathroom, we bypassed the basement facilities because the smell of sh*t was wafting up the stairs. We head up to the balcony bathroom. Well you cannot close the bathroom stall without straddling the toilet. It's so narrow the insides of my pants were touching the toilet. DISGUSTING!!

And strike 2!

We head to the concession stand upon returning to our "General Admission" area and are told that the only thing to eat is tiny little pastries for $2 each. But interestingly enough large pizzas were at the concession stand for the workers. I'm sorry, if there is no food for the patrons, the workers shouldn't be passing around pizza to the staff in front of the patrons. They should be taking breaks, eating in a room behind closed doors.

I decided to seek out Management and was referred to the Box Office. The man at the box office didn't really take me seriously and was pretty much snickering in my face, as we was telling me the Manager was on vacation. He said food was not allowed in the theater. I said "well it's in there being passed around. Should I place a pizza delivery order for 264 Tremont St?" He wrote "food" on a little slip of paper to talk to the Manager about, but it was pretty obvious he didn't care about my complaints.

Overall, very disappointed with the Wilbur theater. Management/ownership needs to make some big changes!
