The Ambiance
Don't be fooled by the address, this spa is about as un-Newbury Street as you can get. Admittedly, on our most recent visit, Pour Moi was in the midst of remodeling after moving from the first to the third floor of their building. But, having been upstairs for two months, the cramped space still looked like a rundown hospital. The barren, dull gray walls were a bit depressing. In fact, there were no decorations anywhere. And we assume the absence of music was due to a yet-to-be-unpacked stereo.
The Service
But if the service is exceptional, does the absence of frills and fresh flowers really matter? We don't think so. From where we were sitting, the salon was clean and the technicians professional, courteous and competent. We felt comfortable here.

I have been going to Heather for over 5 years. I spent a lot of $$ trying the fancy spas around town, but this was-by far- the best facial and bikini waxing I have ever had! She gives a face and neck massage that puts me in a coma and my skin glows after. When I go for waxings, she takes her time, makes you very comfortable, and there is never a hair left behind! There have been times I have been in a pinch and gone to a different place for a waxing....BIG mistake. Heather is the best!!!
Pros: Excellent service. Not rushed. Fairly easy scheduling
Cons: Smaller then most spas on Newbury.

I needed to get a massage on a weekend and this place was the only one that had openings that day. I got a massage from Anthony and I have to say that he is probably the best massage therapist Ive ever had.
