Newbury Street's most affordable resting place dates back to 1882 and offers guests a down-home feel..
The Scene
A clump of townhouses on the less pretentious end of Back Bay's most pretentious street holds nearly three dozen clean and cheery guest rooms. The main building was constructed as a private residence in 1882, and since 1990, the Hagopian Hotels Group has been annexing and renovating adjoining structures. Upper Newbury Street can be boisterous, especially on Fridays and Saturdays, and during warm weather.
The Details
Each of the 32 guest rooms comes with a private bath. B&B owners can't serve a cooked breakfast without a restaurant license, so Newbury Guest House offers continental breakfast in the parlor or on the "patio," where you can get an early start on Newbury's main sport of people-watching.
Great location!. I loved this place! Awesome location right on Newbury street in the heart of the action. The rooms were beautiful and the staff was super friendly. This is great for a romantic trip to the hub.
