Tips for Mediate Management Company

Mediate Exceeds Expectations. I live in a condo building that has had its fair share of disappointing management companies. We've been with Mediate for the past two years, though, and I have never been dissatisfied with the service we've received. Our property manager and property assistant are responsive, proactive and always on top of their game. Our manager makes knowledgable recommendations on repairs or improvements to the building, and is always willing to get the information needed to make the most fiscally responsible decisions regarding those recommendations. Mediate's maintenance staff is also reliable, thorough and just plain friendly. I would recommend Mediate to anyone looking for a professional, communicative, well-run property management company.

Found some great info on real estate. I found mediate to be a great resource for my real estate needs. Not only were they extremely informative ,but they didn't waste my time by informing me of places that were outside of my budget. I definitely recommend Mediate.

Nice Brochure, Terrible Service. The bottom line: do not rent with this company! As a professional in Boston, I have seen my share of overpriced, under serviced realty. Mediate Management Company's property managers found a low absentee-landlord standard, and have managed to take it lower. My building is rarely cleaned, new paint is non-existent, garbage bins are emptied at best every other week (a fragrant delight in Boston's hot, humid summers), pest control is substandard, and maintenance is so poor that I am registering on sites like this to warn prospective tenants. For a week and a half, the apartment refrigerator has been broken - requests for updates for service with the property manager, Patrick Holland, get either a tepid (and false) "We'll handle that today," or no reply at all. All this for over $1000/mo. for a small studio on Beacon Hill. The money that they could be reinvesting in a conveniently located building in one of the city's most historic (and most expensive) districts has been instead been used for brochures touting Mediate's management "service". This results in a building that is a neighborhood eyesore but at least we tenants have the unintentionally hilarious brochures to amuse us! DO NOT RENT FROM MEDIATE MANAGEMENT COMPANY!
