Example: great place for good bread.
I bought 3 expensive ESQ watches from them a year ago as gifts for my groomsmen. Within 2 months, they had all mysteriously died. My friends swore they had hardly ever worn them, but I didn't get them all back for a little while because some of them lived overseas etc.
I went back to the store on Newbury to complain and the woman working there (wife of owner?) would not send them back for me or even tell me who to contact. She was extremely rude considering she sold me $750 of broken watches. When I got them back to ESQ eventually, they said the mechanisms internally were damaged beyond repair.
Is this store still around so I can bring them to small claims court?

do yourself a favor - don't shop here.
My boyfriend recently decided to buy me a watch for my birthday and shopped here. The woman who works here (I think she owns it with her husband) talked him into buying a ladies watch, and led him to believe that he could take it back if I didn't like it. After I opened it and decided I preferred men's watches, we tried to return it and was told they only did exchanges-- no returns. Now we're stuck with either a ladies watch or credit for a store that neither one of us wants to walk inside again. She knew he was buying a watch for a guy, she should be ashamed for talking him into his purchase (and have the decency to take it back!).

Unacceptable Customer Service.
I've purchased Swiss Army watches here in the past, and visited the shop to have my watch band replaced. It was an expensive watch, but it was somewhat reluctantly that I paid $63 for a new band. The orginal band had lasted 3 years. Well, I was back three months later with the same problem - the hard rubber strap had began to separate from the piece that attaches to the watch.
Newbury Street location, expensive watch, $63 band - surely they'd work with me. The woman behind the counter said there was nothing she could do - nope, nuthin', nada. She couldn't even be troubled to find me the address for Swiss Army customer service (visit their website!). I'm now wondering if the replacement band was even genuine Swiss Army. They've lost my business.

Don't Go Here!.
This place is a scam! I took my watch in to have it fixed, they actually damaged it more, tried to charge me more and finally would not refund any of my money. They are also NOT an authorized Swiss Army repair center (check the official Swiss Army website), there are two other places in the Massachusetts area, but they are not one of them! I would stick to reputable jewelry stores.
Still so angry I went here...
