AWFUL AWFUL!!

This place is terrible!! The bouncers need to get a swift kick in the @ss and realize they are not GOD, and that the patorns that come to their club pay THEIR SALARY!!! SO BE NICE!!! (apparently this place is also known as Chaps?? Weird)

I went there for my birthday and it was, regretfully the most awful birthday ever! BTW I only gave it one star becasue it wouldn't let me submit NO STARS!! Which is what this palce deserves.

We got "hooked up" byt heir promo manager, who was also useless. She had no say over anyone/anything, especially not the bouncers - they event treated her like sh*t!!

The cover is too high for a crappy SMALL place like this. Drinks were even more unreal ($13 for a rum and coke??? really??) and small, like super small.

Then, this place gets raided and watched by @sshole cops on a regular basis (I even called the supervisor of the boston police department to file a harrassment complaint, and they claim there were no undercover cops in tha area...even more shaddy).

The bouncers treat people like dirt. So unbelieveably rude and physical you don't even want to try and have a good time just in case one of them bites your head off and kicks you out...literally!!

DJ is not great either. Place was kinda dead for Boston on a Sutrday night. Bartenders don't know what they're making. If you ask for something and they don't know what it is they'll just make you something esle they want.

Just don't waste your time. Boston is full of better places with better people, both inside and out.

THE WORST CLUB TO GO TO ON ANY NIGHT.

FIRST THEY GET RID OF LANDSDOWN STREET, AND NOW THEY DOWN GRADE THIS SH*T TO A PLACE CALLED RUMOR. RUMOR MY *SS, TRUTH BE TOLD. Your club s*cks.... Your bouncers need to pull the stick out of their asses, secondly You charge way too much for a g*dd*mn drink and a cover. I could have taken a ride with my friends to the beach and drank my self to oblivion, and have ourselves a grand ole time times 20 with the same amount of money i would spend for a single drink at your RETARDED CLUB. I MEAN COMMON. the music is not and i say it's NOT IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CROWD. THE DJ IS TERRIBLE, EVEN F*RT (please put in the A) SOUNDS BETTER THAN THAT SH*T. CHECK YOUR ATTITUDES, DECREASES YOUR PRICES, PLAY FOR THE CROWD... AND REMEMBER WE PAY YOUR g*dd*mn salary....F*CKING C*ACK HEADS.......AND READ YOUR REVIEWS. YOUR CLUB S*CKS.......LUCKY I GAVE U A STAR........... F*CK IT .... I WANNA CUT THAT SH*T IN HALF.......half a star dammit... F*cking retards. F*CK IT.............I'M GONNA GIVE YOU B*TCHES A QUARTER OF A STAR D*MN IT...... you don't even deserve half.... if it's up to me... I wont give you a d*mn star.... F*CK THIS review.... Worst time I ever had!!!

If you're looking for long lines, rude staff, overpriced drinks and the worst DJs in the city, then Rumor is your place. As if standing in the cold wasn't bad enough, the $25 cover charge almost pushed me over the edge. Then, for what reason I can't understand, after paying that extortion money I was treated to some of the worst hospitality (rude staff) and certainly the worst music I've ever had the displeasure of encountering. The DJ kept interrupting every song 20 seconds into it to "shout out" to some loser he knew in the crowd only to then switch to another song. And this went on and on and on...all night!!! The crowd was thug-like, the women were disgusting and the place smelled like used diapers. Do yourself and anyone you're with a favor, find somewhere else to go. Trust me!
