it's ok for neigborhood older professionals but not much for young guys.
Pretty old crowd and pretty expensive. I'll probably go to a bar like this when I'm 40, but right now there isn't much for me here. I can do without 3.75 for a miller high life. The crowd can be pretty nice but they're all there with their partners and it seems like they don't have much time for someone under 30.

Fritz is a friendly bar!.
I really liked Fritz. No seamingly pretensious gay men with attitudes. More of a down home neighborhood bar. Not a hang all over someone sleaze bar. I stayed at the Chandler Inn, and the rooms are way over priced for what you get! It was nice though, to go down to the bar and then to the room. I found people to be very friendly..........employees and patrons. We also ate lunch there, and it was great. Drinks are not over priced either which surprised me. They are more espensive where I live in Maine.

Gay Cheers.
It's a good place to go for after work drinks., also a good start for bar hopping. Great inexpensive cocktails. Bartenders make great drinks. If you ever have a chance stop by and meet the regulars.

Editorial Review.
Casual sports bar is a favorite of Boston's gay community; brunch is served on the weekends.

Don't touch!.
This is the most bizarre gay bar Ive ever had the displeasure to be in. Evidently the management has a problem with patrons making out. I wasnt doing anything that I havent done in any other gay bar but the bar back yelled at me to get my hands off the guy. It was really embarrassing. I do NOT recommend going here. There are much more fun (and less pretentious) bars in Boston.
