The Scene
Daisy Buchanan's remains one of the more popular and less trendy drinking spots on Newbury Street, one of the few places where working-class types can mix with the ultra-fashionable crowd that usually populates this area. Don't be surprised if you bump into guys who look like they could be professional athletes; they probably are. Daisy's is known to attract football, basketball and baseball players on a regular basis.
The Draw
Daisy's enjoys a well-deserved reputation as a blatant pickup joint, but there's more to this popular hangout than meat-market mingling. The full kitchen serves pub-style food (lobster specials, salmon clubs, swordfish kabobs) until 9pm Monday through Thursday and until 9:30pm on Friday and Saturday.

I love this bar. It is not very nice but it is probably the only one in town that you could actually meet someone. People will actually talk to you here. It is not pretentious and a lot of fun, if you drink enough!

Take the time stop in have something to eat and have a drink, been going there years and the place is the spot in the neighborhood to have some fun. May not be everyone's taste to have fun, but here you will. The food is great,it is not the 4 seasons but if you want something to fill you or munch on ,its your place. I love going mainly because the staff treat you the way you want to be treated when you go out, you walk in, your drink is ready at the bar. Bartender Ricky is fantastic keeps you laughing or will chat with you when not busy ,and fun to look at also..As are they all but he stands out very personable. All in all I would recommed this place to anyone,it is just a fun place.

When you sign up for this review they give you a listing of things you cant say in the review. Everything on that list descrides this place. I dont know any place in Boston where a young women can be verbally assaulted by drunk older men and the women is the one to be kicked out, with the support of the employees. If that is a place where you would like to go, then be my guest. But after witnessing what I did tonight, I dont believe I would attend such a place again.
