WORST FOOD!! I have ever eaten
by nbetty at Citysearch
I order a chicken parmesan... they should called EXTRA FRIED RUBBER. I can stil taste the oil and grease. what about the chicken I mean the rubber.... horrible. if you love your self please don't order from there
- Pros: worst ever
- Cons: everything is nasty and tasteless
terrible food and even worse service
by michellenorris61 at Citysearch
I've never been treated worse in my life. I already knew the food was pretty awful, but after the way I was treated I would never go back and have urged all my friends in the South End to do the same. I went one evening with a gay friend, and they were both incredibly insulting to him and to me as a woman.
Lots of other decent places very similar to Emilio's close by - I STRONGLY recommend trying these places, such as Nicole's Pizza (decent food and decent service) and Georgiana's - great people, slightly overpriced food.
- Pros: location on tremont
- Cons: everything else
Great comfort, reasonable price
by jinkitee at Citysearch
Every once in a while I will call into Emilio's for a take-out order of chicken wings, fries, and a steak & cheese calzone. While it's not fancy it's definitely pure comfort food that readily capable of entertaining myself and a friend for dinner and usually enough for a greasy breakfast. They also have some really attractive pastries on display, but I have never had the chance to order them. i've probably had everything else in their menu... I hope they never change!
- Pros: Great comfort food
- Cons: Can't think of any
Average Food, Good Service, Delivery
by jkboston1050 at Citysearch
The food is ehh. The pizza is average. The subs are average. The place isn't really clean, but it isn't dirty. Nothing remarkble about Emilio's...however, the service is very good. Friendly and quick. The saving grace is they deliver which is not that common in the South End. Of the sub shops that deliver, Emilio's would have to take top bill. Quick delivery, fair prices and average food.
- Pros: Service, Delivery
- Cons: Average Food
Excellent pizza!
