Best Lunch Spot in the South End. If you want a truly neighborhood experience and service with a smile, then go to Berkeley Perk. The breakfast sandwiches are great as is the fresh fruit. The real killer meal is lunch. Pressed sandwiches and rollups are all good and fresh and the soups are a treat. Great iced tea too! The best part about Berkeley Perk is how reasonable it is for a South End eatery. Thank goodness because there are too many mediocre places in the neighborhood that are very expensive. I just love the Perk!
