Panini!.
Oh Em Caf! As an Emerson alum, the cafe had the best food that EC Cash could buy. Without the ability for my mom to pay for my bagel sandwiches, I don't think of the place as the best lunch option in the area, but now and then their food can't be beat.
When I was a more frequent customer, I would mostly get two things: a bagel sandwich with egg and cheese or mozzarella, tomato and basil panini. They are by far the best things on the menu.
Breakfast ends at 11am, for some reason. They still have bagels after that time, they just don't have egg, which is irritating. After that time, the panini is the best option.
The cashiers and sandwich assemblers are generally friendly, but sometimes slow. I would stick to the menu items that I mentioned because some sandwiches, I'm talking to you thanksgiving turkey, tasted watery. It's weird. Paninis and egg sandwiches!
If you're on the common and looking for a quick lunch, give the Emerson Cafe a try.
Overpriced and unappealing sandwiches. Very expensive and you cant just get a regular sandwich. menu never changes and setup is chaos. Also very crowded when school is in session.
