Kuddos for WORST service ever!!!.
In my 20+ years of eating at restaurants regularly, I can truly say that the worst service I have ever received is at Kashmir's... This is the first review I have ever written ever but I thought such poor service merits a comment...
The first time I was there was in a big group during their lunch buffet service. We had placed our various drink orders most of which were served in a reasonable time.. One of us committed the cardinal sin of ordering regular water. Even the atrocities committed in the Kashmir valley pales in comparison. He had to request it thrice before he actually got it. The third time he asked for water the response from the brawny waiter who was more busy flexing his considerable biceps was "Can't you see that I am busy?"...
So maybe I am a glutton for punishment - I actually went back there. It was several months later and I had slotted the previous incident as one wannabe-a-WWF-star-but-am-still-a-waiter's frustrated attempt at grasping at power - even if it was only to deprive a thirsty man of some water... Same rude service from both the pretty girl who seated us and the not-so-brawny-but-as-rude waiter who served us that evening..
This from a culture that is known for its hospitality...

Great ambience.. The food here was exellent. The service was very fast. We went on a Friday evening and the restaurant was busy yet very little wait on seating or our meal. Superb lighting and over all fun feel to the place. We often dine out at Indian restaurants in Florida and none can compare to Kashmir. If you enjoy Indian cuisine you will love this place.
Worst Service Ever. Decor 5, Food 5, Service 0. My friend had visited us from Florida and Kashmir was recommended to us by a friend. We had a great day out in Boston and at Newbury Street. We initially decided to drive back home, but instead went to Kashmir, again b/c of recommendations from a trustworthy friend. No matter how the food tastes and the restaurant is decked up, if you don't have a service to compliment, then the experience is ruined. This is exactly what happened to us. It ruined our day!!!
DISGUSTING!. I took my boyfriend here for his birthday. We have been to every area Indian restaurant except for Kashmir and we will never go again. It was Sunday afternoon; the order was delivered in about 5 minutes so it was not fresh, just reheated. The shrimp masala had 2 pieces of shrimp floating in tomato soup but at least looked like food. The Lamb Kabob was the most disgusting looking, smelling, and tasting dish I have ever encountered. Without exaggeration, it smelled like diesel fuel. You couldn?t even tell what it was. The 2 brown rolls looked like excrement on a bed of rice. I couldn?t even look at it. My boyfriend tried a small piece and gagged. We could not believe that anyone would serve something like this and then charge $50 for giving us nausea. There are many good Indian restaurants, this is not one of them.
Do not go!. So my husband wanted to, and I already hated the food here, but I said can't hurt to try to buffet. The worst indian food i've ever had is an understatement. Their milk based desert had actually gone bad, and they continued to serve it even after we told the waiters that it was bad. Since I'm Indian I knew the difference of the tastes, but they didn't care. Really bad food, go to Bindi Bazaar on Mass Ave which is much better if you are looking for decent Indian Food.
Avoid, a disappointment.
Made a visit to Kashmir on Sunday June 15th for brunch and what a disappointment.
I hadn't been Kashmir's for a long time and won't be going back based on the lack of service and terrible food.
Excellent Indian Food!. My wife and I enjoyed a great dinner here while visiting. The service was excellent, the food was amazing, and it was a great value. Highly recommended!
