The Scene – With a contemporary, dimly lit interior and a social, sunny sidewalk patio, this Back Bay after-work hot spot offers a variety of atmospheres. Young professionals stop by at all hours and fill the popular ground floor's comfy banquettes to swill designer drinks (white crantini, red sangria martini, cranberry mojito). Calmer environs can be found upstairs, where welcoming sofas and a quiet dining room beckon. Service in all corners is provided by harried, good-natured waitresses. – – The Food – The varied menu of contemporary favorites is ideal for an…

Vox Populi for Drinks? No thanks!
by FunFearlessBean at Citysearch
Every time I am dragged to Vox Populi, it is against my will and usually the location of somebody else's birthday party. The bar scene on the weekends is always packed with men wearing too tight Ed Hardy shirts. Even if you ignore the scene, the bar staff is sullen at best and their cocktails are really poorly made, overly priced and way too sweet. I really don't understand why people love this bar or make it their regular spot. As for me? No thanks!
- Pros: Public transportation accessibility
- Cons: Bar scene, poorly made cocktails, bar staff
Great Food!

I went for Restaurant Week and the food was amazing! I have been craving more of the gazapacho with crab meat. The mahi-mahi was also delicious. I went out on a limb and tried a drink with soju (which I had never heard of - I think it was called Tyku), mint and oranges. It was refreshing and a great accompaiment to my yummy meal.
- Pros: Food, ouside seating, wait staff
Sexiest Bread Pudding

GIVE A RAISE TO WHOEVER MADE THAT BREAD PUDDING
Great food, things need to be simplified a little bit on main courses with flavors. Portions can be a little small. Waitress' needs more charm. Didn't have cocktails though they were presented well on other tables.
- Pros: best bread pudding
- Cons: needs a hot staff!
