“The atmosphere is great, lots of sitting room, live piano playing, and everything you would expect in a classy establishment.”
“My friend was waiting for me at the bar, and she said the Bartender was very nice, offered her a brand new paper to read while she waited, and spoke to her at appropriate times.”
“If you're looking for pretentious (but not in a bad way) dinner or picky food, this is a superb choice and I'd recommend it to anybody (who had at least $100+ to drop on dinner).”
“The wine list is very extensive and I got a chance to enjoy some Dom as well as some Flowers Chardonnay-and at the end of the night, they were finishing off champagne bottles and I got some comp'd Clicquot.”
“Very attentive.”
“never had any of the food, but the drinks were very good, though expensive.”
Classy.
My first time to the Bristol was a great experience. My friend was waiting for me at the bar, and she said the Bartender was very nice, offered her a brand new paper to read while she waited, and spoke to her at appropriate times. Very attentive.
We originally came here for Burgers and Burgundy, but that didn't happen for us, so we just have a few cocktails before heading out. I never had any of the food, but the drinks were very good, though expensive. The atmosphere is great, lots of sitting room, live piano playing, and everything you would expect in a classy establishment. I really enjoyed it here. The clientele is definitely on the older side, and everything is expensive, but that is to be expected. Definitely would like to come here for a nice meal, or even start here for a few drinks with a friend or two and catching up.
Amazing food & atmosphere, be prepared to spend a $mint.
You have to go into this place understanding it's an amazing find. The wine list is very extensive and I got a chance to enjoy some Dom as well as some Flowers Chardonnay-and at the end of the night, they were finishing off champagne bottles and I got some comp'd Clicquot.
My date and I had the lobster claws, the duck pate and the seafood platter with more lobster, crab, clams, oysters... the whole shabang. If you're looking for pretentious (but not in a bad way) dinner or picky food, this is a superb choice and I'd recommend it to anybody (who had at least $100+ to drop on dinner).
