“It offers a nice atmosphere, if you like laid back sports bars.”
“If you're looking to see hot people, drink good drinks, and probably hook-up.”
“great burger”
“wouldn't recommend a return, unless they change the menu”
“great time, good food, a bit too small for the crowds they get, but overall a really good place”
“will never go back there and I wouldnt recommed this bar to my worst ememy!”
“The service was great and lots of people to watch.”
“Good crowd, a lot of singles, cheap drinks for Boylston St. On mondays $0.10 wings, which are pretty good (good enough for $0.10 at least).”
Best burger in town. You would think that this bar just serves bar food. For the most part you would be right. However, their blackend burger is THE best burger I have ever had in boston. The meat is covered in a black peper mix. Once cooked they cover it with a white mayonase based sauce that no one else has. If you consider yourself a burger expert you must try this. I reccomend eating it WITHOUT cheese or bacon or anything else.
Best Bar in America.
Whiskeys is by far the best bar in America. Probably in the world. The Bartenders are hot and friendly; I'm currently trying to date one of them. Talk about a great pick up scene, if you can take your eyes off the bartenders to notice other people, you're sure to meet that special someone (for the night). There are alot of hotels near by, so there is a good "transient" population at Whiskeys; perfect for one-night stands
If you're looking to see hot people, drink good drinks, and probably hook-up...Whiskeys is the place for you.
Not worth it.
Whiskey's is at best okay. The drinks are a bit watered down, the staff is very rude, and the food is disgusting, at best. The crowd also tends to be pretty young.
On weekend nights, the place gets so crowded that you can't move, and a lot of fights tend to happen, because of this. It's pretty good, though, for right after work, if you don't care too much about the ambience.
Great Burger Joint and Wings. Whiskey's has a nice selection of beers on tap, and an excellent pub grub menu to go along with the beer. Whiskey's offers one of the best burgers in the city, done many different ways, and they often have wing specials after work. It offers a nice atmosphere, if you like laid back sports bars. This is the one place where I take out of town friends and I am never disappointed.
It's okay.... ...but on a weekend night it's packed, and there is barely room to hang out. Plus the bathroom seems like it's a mile away.
Step off!. It's not really a bar...it's a crowded hallway. There's barely any room to chat with friends so you're constantly moving through groups of people. Forget about meeting anyone, ladies...the best you'll get is an old sleazy man trying to grab your hand as you squeeze by. Plus, the bouncers are rude...prepared to be asked for 7 backups as they shine a flashlight in your face.
Absolutely loved it!. A definite pick up bar. Mix hot intelligent guys, with strong neon drinks, good music and the nights always memorable!
Definately worth it. great time, good food, a bit too small for the crowds they get, but overall a really good place
Boylston Street at its best. Food, drink, music, good crowd...what more could you ask for? This is a great place to meet after work when ya just need to unwind. Friday and Saturday nights usually attract college kids and the younger crowd. There are TVs usually showing one sporting event or another. Grab a booth and chill, but if you get here too late you'll probably have to cram around the bar area and tolerate the frequent pushing of people trying to check out the scene. But hey, a great way to meet people!
