Editorial Review for Riccardi – by Sara Bliss
The Scene
Labelistas love Riccardi's primo selection of flashy and very expensive brands such as Prada, Versace, and D&G. Ultra-trendy men's clothes line the racks downstairs while the upstairs is reserved for a more user-friendly collection of women's clothes. Techno dance music sets the vibe for a 20-something clientele.
The Goods
Body-hugging sweaters, tight jeans, sleek button-down shirts, slick pants and other cutting edge clothes are available for men who want their wardrobes to standout in Boston's sea of preppy chic. For men who wear jewelry, Riccardi offers a huge selection of chunky silver rings and bracelets. Upstairs the women's department offers some beautiful clothes, handbags and shoes that will accommodate a wider range of tastes, from Miu Miu, Prada, and Costume National.

Ok, Mr. Riccardi has an exquisite taste in terms of fashion. Lets just say he also owns the Diesel stores in Boston and Cambridge and their collection is even better than in the Diesel stores I went to in Rome and Milan! He's also the only one who brought the Miss Sixty and Energy Jeans to Boston.. For me, Miss Sixty and Energy (they're actually 2 diff. lines from the same company) are absolutely the best jeans EVER! They're sexy, stylish, and comfortable! I've never found anything else that fits better and feels better than these jeans! Also check out the other designers on the 2F.. There're some rare designer labels like Comme de Garson, Vivenne Westwood, etc.. Of course, the only draw back about this store is the sky rocket price.. It's almost 3 times (at least for the jeans) the price than one would've got in Italy!
Pros: great collection, hard to find items
Cons: expensive!, no refund-onlyXchange, bad parking
