Worst bridal service I have ever received.

by tambrinds at Citysearch

I went to the Waltham store, staff was unfriendly from the minute i walked in the door. They took their time coming to greet me and give directions, then they left me in a room for over a half an hour and didn't say a word. There were 3 employees in the store and I was the only customer. They are lazy and desperately need a course in customer service.

  • Pros: parking
  • Cons: Customer service, bad staff attitudes

My Dream Dress at a dreamy price

by amconnors at Citysearch

I'm not really the type of girl who has always imagined of her wedding day with doves and white icing and the whole nine, in fact I wanted to elope. So I bought a really cheap, plain gown at David's Bridal's. Then my fiance bought an Armani suit in which to get married. Standing next to him, my dress looked it's price, and I began to cry.

This happened three weeks before the wedding.

Then next day my fiance brought me to Newbury Street where I was sure that I would be appauled by the prices and not find anything I liked. The minute we entered the store those women made me feel so special and they found me, and I am not kidding, the perfect dress. Not frilly, totally elegant, beautiful, I could not have designed a more perfect dress for me, and the price was completely reasonable (less than $1200). When my fiance' saw me in the dress all he said was "We'll take it."

The clerks started to cry, I started to cry.

And my dress was just as if I'd always imagined it.

  • Pros: super dressed and service
  • Cons: the alterations were pricey
