Editorial Review for P.F. Chang's China Bistro – by Citysearch Editors

In Short
Towering twin stallions and carved wood screens add majesty and mystery to this stylish restaurant, where well-dressed patrons sip martinis at the bar and families with children feast around large tables or in spacious booths. The menu gives Chinese classics a contemporary tweak; dishes are artfully presented, with many sauces made tableside by servers. Signature plates include diced chicken wrapped in cool lettuce leaves, orange-peel beef with chili peppers, and wok-fried scallops with lemon sauce.

I have to admit, I have never sat down at this restaurant. I always do "Take Out". That being said, it's hard not to miss the crowds waiting for a table. So if you go, plan to wait for a table during peak times. More importantly, the food is quite good. Big fan of the Mongolian Beef, the Peking dumplings, the Shrimp dumplings, the Chicken Lettuce Wraps, and Stir-fried Buddha's feast. The food is well prepared and you never have to wait for take out. It is soooo much better than the Prudential PF Chang (see that review). The food is a little more expensive than most Chinese Takeouts...but in a lot of ways, I think it is worth it. If you have a hankering for PF Changs, I recommend this location.

Pros: Food

Cons: Wait for a Table, Parking, No Valet

I love this place! Living in Boston, its hard to find a great place to grab take out without hurting your wallet...(unless you want a pizza or salad) Changs is a great value and the food is consistantly good. Their lettuce wraps are to die for and if you like chicken, beef or seafood of any kind - you are sure to find a dish to satisfy...I love grabbing take out from here because the portions are good size...order a few different dishes and share...you will love it! Great if you are having friends over!

Pros: Great food, great prices

Cons: Sometimes you have to wait a while to sit...bar area gets crowded quickly!
