Editorial Review for P.F. Chang's China Bistro – by Citysearch Editors
In Short
Towering twin stallions and carved wood screens add majesty and mystery to this stylish restaurant, where well-dressed patrons sip martinis at the bar and families with children feast around large tables or in spacious booths. The menu gives Chinese classics a contemporary tweak; dishes are artfully presented, with many sauces made tableside by servers. Signature plates include diced chicken wrapped in cool lettuce leaves, orange-peel beef with chili peppers, and wok-fried scallops with lemon sauce.

I love this place! Living in Boston, its hard to find a great place to grab take out without hurting your wallet...(unless you want a pizza or salad) Changs is a great value and the food is consistantly good. Their lettuce wraps are to die for and if you like chicken, beef or seafood of any kind - you are sure to find a dish to satisfy...I love grabbing take out from here because the portions are good size...order a few different dishes and share...you will love it! Great if you are having friends over!
Pros: Great food, great prices
Cons: Sometimes you have to wait a while to sit...bar area gets crowded quickly!

went there few times mainly for after-work drinks, which are great. love the pear mojito to start off the summer. food... not too impressed since i'm asian. feel that some items (ex. potstickers) are just over-priced food that sometimes come with a fancier plate or presentation. service varies, as they're always sooo busy. only thing that's been deterring me from patronizing is because i've heard some negative things about its owners (whom i heard are not asians). something that has to do with their discriminatory views against asians, whose cuisine ideas they are capitalizing on. what irony is that! i have nothing against high-end asian restaurants (quite on the contrary, i cheer for their success!), but if anyone is trying to reap off benefits by/from/while taking advantage or discriminating against a certain racial group, then there's a problem. i have not been able to verify the truth in these rumors, but i became guarded upon the first hearing of the news. i hope what i heard was false, otherwise i'll definitely start a full-fledged boycott against this place. :)
Pros: great outdoor seating
Cons: need canopy (sun's in our eyes!); crowded at peak times
