The Best? Not!. I would not rate Bertucci's among the best pizza in Boston. Their pizzas are almost always undercooked, resulting in floppy, soggy doughy pizza and cheese that is never browned. I'd much rather have a slice from Regina's or even Tommy's in Cambridge.

Hoity Toity. This place is highly overrated! The service stunk and the food was not much better. My wife and I were very disappointed in the quality. The price of the food was too high. LaScala in Randolph is much much better.

Bertucci's: To bad its a chain. Yea, Pizzeria Regina is a piece of Boston heritage, and a perfect destination for a hungry tourist after a long day of touring the North End. But, if we are strictly talking Best Pizza, then the prize simply has to go to Bertucci's. I'll admit that it depresses me a little, growing up in a city well known for really superb pizza shops, that a chain restaurant should take first prize, but I'm sorry taiste buds don't lie.

Simply the Best. Bertuccis is simply the best around. Once you are in the parking lot and you smell the brick oven going you are in heaven. Nice place, and great food and great prices. Pizzas are perfect, and the sandwiches are great. And dont forget the fresh baked rolls. And I could eat just appetizers, from the wings to the breadsticks with olive oil and roasted garlic, my mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Oh My Mozzerella!. I just have to say that the way Bertuccis does up their Tomatoe and Mozzzzzeerrrrellllaaa pizza is the best! I don't know what it is that makes it different, the way they cook it or the quality ingredients, but ......IT WORKS!

Burned pizza anyone?. I never eat there when I have a choice because it ALWAYS seems that the pizza tastes burned! I have tried a few different non-pizza dishes and hated them all. Their rolls are amazing, and the only thing I'll eat there.

Strange ideas about pizza. Bertucci's approach to pizza seems to be to try as many odd and unusual ingredients as possible as toppings. When eating a Bertucci's pizza, these odd flavorings are overwhelming to the point that it doesn't taste like anything even closely resembling classic Italian pizza. Ditch the hot spices, weird veggies and chicken. Let's go for some classics like peppers, onions, mushrooms, pepperoni, hamburg, sausage, meatball and real Italian sauce.
