Everything a Hostel is supposed to be.
Okay...you have to be used to staying in hostels to appreciate what HI-Boston actually is. It's clean, it's in a great location and it's very affordable. They are open 24 hours, no lockout times and each room is secured by a card-key lock.
The staff was friendly and very helpful with information on what to see and how to get around the city.
