Love this place :).
This place has outstanding lunch specials, a great menu, and serves hot tea with your meal. They have redesigned their restaurant not long ago, and have expanded their menu to sushi. I still love the General Gau's chicken. Clean atmosphere, right near Mass Ave and Commonwealth, just across the bridge from MIT. This is one of my default places to eat when I'm in Boston.

Back Bay Chinese eatery serves up exceptionally inexpensive dinner plates, much to the pleasure of area students and tightwads..
In Short
With its lunchtime combo plates averaging around $5 and dinnertime ones costing a few bucks more, Hsin Hsin ranks among the city's top spots for cheap eats. Given the prices, it comes as something of a surprise that white meat chicken is used and the vegetables are reasonably fresh. Expect a no-frills dining environment and a lengthy menu of familiar Chinese favorites: Peking ravioli, sweet-and-sour chicken, etc.

Best in the City Crab Rangoons.
I had been looking for good crab rangoons since I moved into the city. We tried so many chinese places and finally - we found the one. The crab rangoons here are the best I've found (though I've found better outside of Boston) - and I'd recommend it if thats all you're looking for.
