Editorial Review for Pour House Bar and Grill – by Gerrish Lopez

In Short
A noisy Boylston St. hangout that's open until 2am nightly, the Pour House is a favorite of the just-turned-21 student set and young area professionals. With plenty of TVs and a lengthy beer list, it's a good spot for watching a game. With weekly food specials, like half-price Mexican food from 6pm to 10pm on Thursdays, it's an even better spot for a cheap meal.

Insider Tips

When to Go

Because several nearby bars close at 1am, the Pour House receives a crush right around then. To secure a table, conisder beating the post-1am crowds.

Save Money

Food specials include $2.50 chicken sandwiches (Wednesday nights) and half-price burgers (Saturdays from 6pm-10pm).

lots (LOTS!) of wings for a very cheap price! or you can try 4 kinds on one platter--even that wasn't expensive either. i forgot how much though... too much beer i guess. :)

Pros: cheap food

Cons: bit run-down; seat yourself

Great happy hour pit stop, every day of the week they have dinner/drink specials...very casual atmosphere. Staff is friendly. Later in the night it does turn into a younger (college) scene...but if you get there after work it is mostly professionals grabbing a beer and a bite to eat. If you are on Boylston, stop by!

Pros: Cheap, Casual, Fun

Cons: college crowd, can TOO busy late night
