In Short – A noisy Boylston St. hangout that's open until 2am nightly, the Pour House is a favorite of the just-turned-21 student set and young area professionals. With plenty of TVs and a lengthy beer list, it's a good spot for watching a game. With weekly food specials, like half-price Mexican food from 6pm to 10pm on Thursdays, it's an even better spot for a cheap meal.

great service, very good food, inexpensive beer

Our service was incredibly friendly and prompt. Being visitors, our waitress even gave us some ideas of places for us to check out while visiting Boston. My boyfriend enjoyed his food, and my chili was awesome (I highly recommend!).

GOOD EATS - CHEAP BEER

by mickj

Great happy hour pit stop, every day of the week they have dinner/drink specials...very casual atmosphere. Staff is friendly. Later in the night it does turn into a younger (college) scene...but if you get there after work it is mostly professionals grabbing a beer and a bite to eat. If you are on Boylston, stop by!

  • Pros: Cheap, Casual, Fun
  • Cons: college crowd, can TOO busy late night
