Great place for friends and/or family

by gethebassics , Citysearch Contributor at Citysearch

You don't have to be a geek to love the Museum of Science! They have really neat exhibits to make learning of scientific stuff fun... my favorite is the bubble exhibit, where you can make bubbles in all sorts of shapes. There's a cute kids section, and a more advanced math-and-computer related section for the uber-smart. Unfortunately, it's a bit pricey - around $17 per person. I was a bit disappointed with the laser show - we bought the tickets online, got there, and found out that it was cancelled due to technological difficulties. D'oh!

  • Pros: Fun way to learn!
  • Cons: Expensive

Boston Museum of Science

The last time I went, the museum was in a state of disrepair. It seemed like half of the exibits were broken or dirty. We never got a chance to see the movie we bought tickets for because it was cancelled.
