Unfortunately, the owner of this company Marilyn Appel, asked me what my birth year was during the interview. I find numerous secondary sources saying this is an illegal question to ask. She says, "I am not your enemy," said it is legal, and will get the information from the I-9 form (troubling thing about I-9 I have noticed for years). I wonder what her attorney would say.
