Choose a different management company

Horrible, horrible customer service. When a worker does something I've already asked them not to do, I complain to the company about it and they deny it every time. When I provide a day to come fix something, they email hours later saying I have yet to confirm. They also take much longer than they initially say to make an appointment.

Like the other reviewer, I have only been provided with temporary fixes and every time they come, they have a different story.

They are unreliable, incompetent, and untrustworthy.

Worst Property Management Group I Have Worked With

I have been renting apartments in the Boston area for over 10 years. Capitol Realty has been the worst group that I have dealt with. They were unresponsive to issues with my apartment. When issues were addressed, they were often temporary fixes that required repair a few months/weeks later. Between the management, Ed is very difficult to get in touch with and Jeff is frustrating to work with.

It is not worth a year of frustration. Find another place.

Professional management!

We've been using Capitol Realty to manage our small condo building in Back Bay for about 2 years. They have been great. They saved us money on exterior repairs and building insurance and were helpful in prioritizing our long list of repair projects four our previously neglected building, too.

Everyone in the office is a pro, and we rely on Frank, their handyman, for everything from plumbing fixes to locksmithing, at reasonable rates.

We were surprised at how affordable professional mgmnt was, even for a 4-unit building. They've saved us time as well as money, since we don't have to go digging around to find reputable contractors or repair people, get bids and approvals, etc. Plus, they handle the finances, including taxes, saving us from more headaches. Highly recommend them!

Great Customer service real pro's

Fast and easy, they showed me 4 places all were good I ended up renting a killer place at a great price. My agent Derek was very knowledgable and breezed through the process.
