I own a condo unit in an association that they manage. They are always professional and helpful. Recently had a problem and again found them to be so responsive. When I read horror stories about other companies, I am so thankful that for the last six years that I have lived hereand that our association has used Hodan

Horrible, lazy and not truthful.
These people are horrible. They are lazy. Their greatest skill set is that they are arrogant. Other than that, they are useless. Vera has no clue. Victor is even worse. They talk a good game but fail to get anything done. My goal is to get my condo complex to END the relationship with Hodan and hire one who can truly manage.
I am forced to give them one star. I wish that I could give them a rating that they truly deserve- a zero
Avoid this company like the plague!.
They are unprofessional.
They will not make you aware before turning the gas or water off in your building.
They have done so 5 times this year.
When having either turned off results in an emergency, rather than address these problems they will give you the run around until you figure out a way to deal with it personally.
Don't hire them!. Hodan Mgt is the worst management company to deal with.They have a mouth full of promises and handful of nothing/ I live in a condo development that they oversee-the quality of services they provide is disgusting. It gets worse every yr- grass not watered, grounds look awful, no sand in the winter, the walkways are not cleared, decks are stained when its raining-they have had to come back and re-stain due to the poor quality of work. The list can go on and on. The most important piece of it all is they don't care- it doesn't matter how much you call. One winter I fell down and cracked my elbow- I went to the hospital and they thought is was fractured- it turned out to the a severe bone bruise and to watch for blood clots. I reported it Randy Spears (as the walkways were again not cleaned or salted) and his response -was " well we have asked you to do that- would you rather have raised condo fees?" I was stunned! He never asked how I was or anything- so I asked his if he would rather have a law suit do to unsafe conditions that the management company that is responsible for. They are a joke- We are moving as we are tired of this company and its disconcern for people. Hello Hodan-we pay your salary-you may need to look for other investments as your reputation has a zero rating in the business of management
Very Rude Employees.
After recieving a rather vague hand written letter in the mail asking me to call, I spoke to, well I don't know. The lady who answered refused to give me her name.
I asked what the reason for the letter was. I was told that she could not tell me, until I gave her my name, address, birth date, when did I move into my property, etc.
I politely said that I was uncomfortable giving out my information to a company I had never heard of.
She demanded that I give her my information. I refused and asked to what this was in regard to. She raised her voice and again angrily demanded my info.
Upon telling her no a second time, she demanded I wait while "the owner set me straight".
I hung up.
Long story short, Hodan has taken over the management for my townhouse, without ever introducing themselves.
Send me something official with an explanation about your business. Don't yell at me over the phone when I ask about the verbal interrogation.
WORST PEOPLE I EVER MET. The people that work at Hodan Management are The worst Kind of people I ever had to deal with ! I am a United States Veteran during 9/11 and I have dedicated my life to serving my country and community ...and the people that work there are trying to run me out of my home and myI only wish is that Karma will deal with these people in due time
Very helpful. I found Hodan Management to be helpful whenever I called. The secretary took care of most issues that didn't involve the owner, Randy Spear, i.e. putting in a request for gutter cleaning, etc. There was one issue in particular that involved Verizon Fios and the secretary spent a lot of time and made multiple phone calls making sure the issue was resolved for me. When she couldn't help me, Randy always got back to me within a decent amount of time. I've been happy with their management of the condo I live in.
Poorly Run Business.
This property management has such poor communication with Trustees and homeowners.
Randy Speare (the Owner) avoids taking or returning phone calls. He can be sarcastic and has made jokes of very important issues that are concerns of homeowners. He makes lots of promises to get your business but does not follow through. Everything done is an emergency and Randy does not set any longterm preventitive or maintence plans with Trustees. He doesn't seem to care and is ready for retirement. He came to a meeting with all the homeowners and had no specific information about the budget. He didn't give out the yearly budget in almost a year in a half. If you don't want to be very frustrated, avoid this management company.
