In Short – What appears from the street to be a small shop opens into a labyrinth of cozy rooms snaking back into the depths of the Hill. The merchandise at any one time cuts across a wide range of ages and styles, but there's something very welcoming about the homey arrangement. Amid the occasionally odd decorative items, you're likely to stumble upon an excellent piece of furniture by an unheralded maker, the sign of a proprietor with a good eye.

Great store with interesting and varied inventory....from18 centruy American to Victorian, to Arts and Crafts movements to "shabby chic". Furniture, glassware, china, rugs, mirrors, just such a cool store overall. Also, prices are so reasonable, I pretty much furnished my entire apartment there ! Staff very nice and helpful but not intrusive. Wish there were more stores like this on Charles Street!
- Pros: Best value for money in Beacon Hill/Back Bay
- Cons: Parking can be tough, but Boston Common Garage is easy walk
Great place to check out!

Great place, something for everyone. Pricing is fair. Can't beat the neighborhood. Furniture is in very good shape. Big area inside makes it a good take in bad weather.
- Pros: Nice area
- Cons: parking's tough
