“Everyone from the locals to the bar staff are friendly and polite.”
Very rude staff. I've been to this bar several times and the service is consistently aweful. There is a good selection of beers, but I wouldn't choose to go here on my own. It definitely has that "regulars" feel to it, but there is a difference between not being treated like a regular and being treated out-right rudely. I would not recommend this place.
Forget becoming a regular. I'm new to the neighborhood and was looking for a good, local bar. I went to Seven's four times in two weeks. Not one time did a bartender extend a hand or say 'hello'. What I did get was bad service. When I thought I was charged for one extra beer the bartender replied, "This is an instance when the customer is always wrong." I would have paid for the un-drunk beer, and chalked it up to a mistake. Now, I'll never go back. And to think, the owner was complaining to the 'local' next to me that business has been down the last couple of years. I wonder...hmm... - Go somewhere else. They don't deserve the business.
love it. sevens is a place to go when you want a beer and a bowl of chili with real locals
A Few Good Beers. This is the place to go whether after work or hanging out on the weekends. It's cozy and tends to fill up quickly, so get there early if you want a seat. The food's decent, the beer's good and the service is top notch. You can speak without yelling and you can hear what your friends are saying without straining your eardrums.
