Best kept secret on Canal Street. I dropped by here for lunch 3 days a week prior to leaving Boston. Nothing beats their prosciuto and mozzarella sub. Although, be careful when eating because most of the sandwiches come with a fair amount of Italian oil. I highly recommend the pasta, but keep in mind that many of these portions are very large. I always suggest take-out and you should call ahead with your order.

Call your order in. Great lunch spot, but getting a table can be tricky (I think the entire storefront seats about 25 people). If you're doing take-out, call your order in and they'll have it waiting for you. Favorite lunch: slabs of fresh mozzarella, juicy tomatoes and arugula on a long, crusty, fresh-baked roll.
