What People Are Saying About The Paramount

By serving an affordable breakfast, lunch and dinner, the Paramount satisfies a steady stream of students and budget-minded Beacon Hill residents. The clean, relaxed dining room serves as a second home for many Bostonians (Jay Leno was once a regular). Beyond fresh omelettes and Belgian waffles with fresh fruit, popular daytime items include juicy burgers and grilled apple and blue cheese salad. Crispy artichoke hearts and lemony chicken Picatta are among the dinnertime favorites.

Don't sit without getting your food

Food was very good. Bus boys were rude and raised their voices to you. We were told that you must order before sitting down. Well we did just that, then I got yelled at by a bus boy. Literally yelled at. Will not go back!!

Can't wait to go back

by Trevorlandon at Citysearch

What a GREAT date place! My girlfriend and I were walking down Charles Street and was recommended The Paramount by a couple who just left when we were looking at the menu outside. We were told a 20-30 minute wait and were seating in 15 minutes. What a great start. The service was right on and it was a smaller place but quite cozy. We ordered a bottle of wine, an app. and two salmon specials. EVERYTHING was fantastic and will be going back for date night VERY soon.

  • Pros: Service, food, quality, value, atmosphere
  • Cons: A bit small

great breakfast spot

by annieM at Citysearch

I always reccomend The Paramount to anyone in from out of town. located in Boston's historic Beacon Hill, the cafeteria style locale is always right on target with classic breakfast fair to satisfy both a savory and sweet pallet. The line is generally out he door on the weekends, but it's well worth the wait !

best pancakes ever

by ashleymichelle1 at Citysearch

This place was one of my favorite brunch spots on the weekends. Apparently it's everyone else's too because there's always a wait. Well worth it for the food though. The inside is a bit cramped and crowded but it still has a certain beacon hill charm that can't be replicated.

  • Pros: adorable place, great food, inexpensive
  • Cons: long lines for brunch on the weekends
