Not good. Probably the worst Chinese food you could get anywhere in Boston. Really the only Chinese restaurant around Beacon Hill, so you don't have options. Would not recommend this place to anybody.

Great Buffet. Shangri La never disappoints. The buffet is always greatand for 8 bucks, you cannot go wrong. Egg rolls piled high on one end, and rice, tofu, pork, and chicken everywhere else Good fast service for lunch, and theres always a fortune cookie at the end. But really, the fortune is always ours for having Shangri La.

Best lunch buffet in Boston. The name says it all: Shangri-La. This dining experience is not one to be missed, especially during the lunch buffet. Less than $8 gets you unlimited hot tea, sweet and sour pork, spicy green beans, chicken wings (a chinese delicacy), broccoli in come sauce, and... EGG ROLLS. The egg rolls are the best. Make sure to use plenty of hot mustard. After at least 3 rounds of buffet-munching, you can retire to the Cocktail Lounge, and enjoy several beverages of choice prior to returning to your desk for the remainder of the afternoon. I love Shangri-La, and go there for lunch at least once a week.

Just your basic Chinese restaurant. The Shang has a small buffet for lunch that's under $8. They're food is very basic, nothing too special about it (except the Sesame Chicken, yum!). The bar is very small but the drinks are good and the bartender is very nice. Overall, it's a good place to go if you want cheap Chinese food fast.
