In Short
Alloro's cramped space is adorned with Victorian prints and an intricate pressed-tin ceiling. Casual servers maintain a friendly atmosphere. The kitchen's limited menu features straightforward versions of Italian classics like bruschetta, steamed mussels, shrimp scampi and chicken Parmesan.

Alloro is truly a hidden gem of the North End. Less overcrowded and pretentious than many of the other Hanover and Salem Street restaurants, it presents a cozy, clean and simple interior matched with delicious food. The lobster raviolli is flavored to perfection, and the veal parmesian rivals even the most high end restaurants of the neighborhood.
Pros: reasonably priced, relaxed, cozy

Alloros food is always good and great prices. It is so small but the turn over is decent. The only problem is the service is so slow and the servers are usually rude. But we keep going back because it is delicious food at affordable prices.
