I live in Maine and come to Boston specifically to get my hair done at Tamo! Charbel is beyond amazing - he is a truly talented stylist and has literally transformed my hair. I have never received a better haircut - ever. The color and highlights came out so beautiful and natural looking - like I was just simply born effortlessly fabulous. This is a gem of a salon.

I love Tamo! I live in Texas and when I travel to Boston, I absolutely have to get my hair done by Charbel. Prices are great and my hair always looks fantastic. My hair has never looked so good and healthy.

Tamo Salon is the absolute best! Not only do you leave Tamo Salon with an amazing hairstyle - you leave knowing that you will be coming back because you have found the best salon in Boston. On top of the great service, the prices are extremely reasonable and the location is so convenient (right outside South Station). Charbel is a hair magician! He is so talented, professional, and accommodating. He's transformed my entire look, making my hair more healthy and beautiful than I ever imagined. I am so glad that I've found Tamo Salon - I highly recommend that you check it out!

Become a client now before Charbel becomes a celebrity himself. Absolutely WORLD CLASS. I'm a former Vidal Sassoon client who now won't go anywhere but Tamo Salon (I save a fortune by the way!!). Their waxing and mani/pedi services are terrific as well. Convenient location around the corner from the Red Line at South Station. In between two of my favorite restaurants ... Sorriso & Les Zygomates.

Charbel is great. I've been getting my haircut by him for the past 6 years and now wouldn't get cut by anyone else. I was really excited when Charbel opened up his new place and it's always nice catching up with him. I've never left with a bad haircut and am confident that he wouldn't let me leave with one either. By far the best around.

Best Salon in Boston!. This hidden gem is the best salon in Boston! They carry and work with Aveda products, though not exclusively, so you have your pick. Niki is not a hairdresser nor a stylist - she is an artist. It sounds kind of unbelievable, but it is the honest truth. I am a young professional woman, I care about my appearance and have always looked for the best for my hair. I thought my hair was too fine, too limp to look full or shiny without tons of product... until I met Niki. It was all in the cut and they even taught me a few tricks with Aveda products that I was unaware of (after using Aveda products exclusively for the past ten years I am usually the one to be teaching the tricks). I love my hair and have received so many compliments. I also recently sent a male co-worker to Niki for a haircut and he looks so much better! He has received a ton of compliments on his new hair.

I also went to Niki Salon recently for a manicure. Also the best manicure ever. I got a French one and it lasted for over a week! It looked amazing and everything was so clean and sterile. I usually only get a paint job because the whole cleanliness thing kinds of worries me, but when I saw their setup I knew it was going to be great and it was!

Nikki at Nikki’s South Street Salon rescued me, yet again.. Nikki at Nikki’s South Street Salon rescued me, yet again, today. In 1 hour, she had my hair exquisitely colored and shining with an excellent cut. This may sound relatively simple for an excellent hair stylist, however, the reality is that I had cut my own hair a few days ago and it was disastrous!! Nikki somehow was able to repair the damage that I had done AND make it look fabulous! Thank you, again & again, Nikki. I will be back soon (but not too soon as I know from experience how long your superb cuts last) :-)

Excellent Find. I have been going to the same barber in my home town for the last 6 years and never thought that I would change. However, a new job, a new schedule, and a new home address made getting to my usual place nearly impossible.

Luckily, after a few disappointing tries, I have finally found a place that exceeds my expectations in every way. Niki's is without a doubt the greatest salon that I have ever been to. The service is amazing. The quality is second to none, and the results speak for themselves.

Each and every time that I walk out of Niki's I know that I look better than when I walked in. And that's really all I can ask for.

I was really happy with how Stacey cut my hair. Stacey did a great job cutting my hair, and she really spent a lot of time styling it afterwards. It really looked great and I got many compliments that day.
