Asian restaurant's fresh "chicken" and "shrimp" dishes keep local vegetarians content..
In Short
With its location in the center of Chinatown, Buddha's Delight provides area vegetarians with a conveniently located spot for a fresh, inexpensive meal. Vegetarian students pop in
to take filling noodle soups to-go, while area couples linger over hot tea. Generic, Asian stir-fries and Vietnamese spring rolls prove popular, and meatless "pork," "steak" and "squid" dot the menu.

cool.
As a vegetarian its nice to have an entire menu that is safe to choose from. I don't know whats been going on with buddhas lately.... they moved downstairs then back upstairs took away the bubble
tea, etc. etc.
Downstairs a new "happy budha" has opened with a near identical menu... strange situation.
Boston still lacks a variety of vegetarian resaurants. Compared to other cities its really quite sad.…
Slow service, bland food. Went to Buddha's Delight after reading the great reviews and found it to be disappointing. The service was somewhat slow and the food (had the chow foon w/ vegetables & tofu and vietnamese spring rolls) was incredibly bland and spring rolls very greasy. Nothing special and overall a bland experience. Also had bites of the "beef" and "pork" but everything tasted basically the same.…
Great veggie food.... I'm not a vegetarian but my wife is. This is one of our favorite veggie restaurants in Boston. The food is very delicious -- I don't even miss the meat.
Veggie's Delight. WOW. That's the first impression of the food there. The restaraunt is pretty much vegan, except for a few drinks (no alcohol served). The environment was nice and friendly. I noticed that a lot of Chinatown restaraunts are quick to get your meal to the table to get you out quickly, but not here. The waitstaff is very friendly and helpful. The view could be better, but the athmosphere more than makes up for it. Now to the food. The best part. Easily one of the best eats in town, if you're a vegetarian or not. The food is nice and light, yet has a lot of delightful flavors and textures. If you're looking for a great restaraunt with friendly people and nice prices, this is def a top pick.…
