Great location and food!. Going to the Opera House and looking for a place to dine then this is perfect. It is very cozy with 3 floors and a large bar as soon as you enter. The buffalo wings were hot but not too hot and plenty for the 3 of us. I had the Mixed Grill which had 3 skews of jumbo scallops, shrimps, and steak tips seared just right. The Baked Haddock and Steak Tips were enjoyed by both. If you are looking for a quiet dinner this not the place to go, was hard to hear sometimes between us. For dessert we had a smooth Baileys Mousse Cake with strawberries aand Vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup. After dinner it took a minute to walk around the corner for the show.

West Street is back!!. I recently went to west street for the first time in awhile and found it completley re-done. The whole place has been rennovated and its beautiful but still feels cozy with the exposed brick. Plus the prices were lower and there was a happy hour menu that was pretty cheap. I was happy to see that all of the same staff was there though, even if everything else was new.

times change. "West St. is fine for dinning, however, for an evening, social spot it could use some renovations. This was one of my favorite bars to visit when I was in town, but after last night 10/19/03 I have reconsidered. They now have a $10 cover charge, for what I have no idea; no band, and the dj wasn't great. The downstairs was too crowed with drunk, cheesy guys bumping into everyone & the music was extremely loud. The upstairs had the same annoying music, and no one was dancing. It was lame. At least the same cool bartenders were at the downstair's bar, however, I still need to find a new favorite spot. "

bouncer on a power trip. The atmosphere is fun once inside, but I will never go back after my second experience with the extremely rude bouncer. He expected us to tolerate his yelling at us and then telling us to wait in the rain for half an hour while he let all his friends in. Needless to say, our group of 6 women left and didn't wait half an hour in the rain while the bouncers stood inside laughing. Don't go unless you like to be degraded by a bouncer on a power trip.
