Requires Credit Card Minimum & No AMEX. Tried buying a wrap the other day -- they don't take AMEX and credit card minimum is $10 -- which violates their member agreement with Visa and Mastercard. I would suggest going a block away to Boston Kebab House which accepts AMEX and has no minimums!

Hearty & robust. I come here quite often for lunch on weekedays, and the long line (but fast moving!) out the door proves they know what they're doing. I'm not an expert on middle eastern food, but the ingredients are always fresh; hearty, chunky style seems very home-cooked. The grilled meats are the best - always juicy and smoky on outside. Unfortunately the falafel is on the dry side, so I never get that anymore.

Great Turkish Food. My friends and I stumbled upon this restaurant one evening in the Financial District. The windowsills are crammed with awards from Phantom Gourmet and Zagat, among others. The first time I got the muhammara salad which was alright, but all of my friends loved what they got. Since then I have gone back twice and what I ordered was delicious. The atmosphere is not amazing, more that of quick lunch spot, but it is the food that makes this place great. Don't miss the baklava!

not worth it. I was very excited to go try a new turkish food place, especially after reading these reviews. Upon receiving my doener kebab i was very disappointed. The meat was very very good (but fatty) but the complaints i have are with the vegetables and the sauce. the garlic yogurt sauce really makes the doener that much better. I'm going to try the kebab house next! i'm looking for something thats like the doeners i had in germany... no luck yet, gyros are closer to the real thing than what was at sultan's kitchen. If i go back there i will def order something else.

SKIP it. I went to the restaurant expecting it to be good since it wins all kinds of awards and it was awful. The sandwich was skimpy and everything in it (lettuce, hummus, etc.) was all just slopped into a pita - nothing was layered and was impossible to eat. I ended up throwing out my meal. Go to the Kebab House - a million times better.
