Expected More. Was invited to go to lunch with a couple of coworkers for restaurant week, checked out the menu before going looked good. We entered and the restuarant was pretty but looked beat. We sat down the waiter didn't even ask if we wanted something else to drink besides water. We ordered and I had the chilled pea soup which had a after tase that made me want to cleanse my palate with bread. I also ordered the duck... wow bad mistake it came out fleshy red i sent it back to be cooked more. The salad on the plate was limp. the waiter never came over to ask how the meal was or if i wanted something else. They did however pop the duck into the microwave becuase the juice from the undercooked duck was on the plate. Would definitely not go back again.

I wanted to like it so bad.... First of all I also haven't gotten credit for the open table reservation...and that's disappointing.... what's worse is the meal that I unfortunately had there. Everything was extremely dry...I went for dinner restaurant week... the duck broke my heart. It was not good...and it was served on a bed of what looked like Chinese takeout white rice. The peach and prosciutto salad, also a bad experience. It was dry, not especially fresh (the seafood cosmopolitan was not especially fresh either...)...The chicken which was suppose to be in a mushroom sauce, didn't have mushrooms in it... the best part was the dessert. The dessert was great. I wanted to like this restaurant so bad. I picked it out of all the others because I though the menu looked fantastic and the atmosphere was romantic. Anyway, the service was fine, and the valet was super convenient... but there are too many great restaurants in Boston to think about coming here again.

Dessert: Chocolate Trilogy with a "special surprise" =/. restaurant week pre fixe menu: appetizer - mussels are very good, smoked salmon are okay. entree - lamb is very good, scallops is also good, the mahi mahi was just ok. dessert - creme brulee was good, chocolate trilogy was NOT supposed to have uncooked rubbery beef tendon in it!!!!

not only was there rubbery beef tendon in it, NO ONE CAME TO APOLOGIZE!! the waiter was just trying to cover the evidence. if you would like a chocolate trilogy with a VERY "SPECIAL SURPRISE" in it, then go ahead. i recommend it. they just pretended that nothing happened.

geee thanks!!

Terrible, Find another place to eat. We reserved our reservation on opentable and were extremely disappointed with our entire experience. When we got there there was not a single person in the dining room and only a few patrons at the bar. During our entire meal not a single other table was filled in the dining room (we should have taken the hint and got out when we had the chance). A few patrons came and went in the bar area, but no other diners. The menu is small and over priced. The food was hotel quality at best. The wine list was expansive and priced fairly. The worst part was they never gave us credit for our opentable reservation. After a day of not being "approved" we called to see if they could update the status for us. After speaking with multiple people on multiple occasions our reservation was then marked as "cancelled." We called multiple more times and spoke with managers who could either not help us or would not call back as promised. We finally had to get in touch with opentable who overrode their system and gave us credit. Aside from a mediocre meal, the service and managers were atrocious. There are plenty of other dining options in that area, I would stay clear of this place.

Excellent Food. I went to Caliterra for a late lunch after a meeting downtown. I had never even heard of the place until I walked by it. The staff was very nice and attentative. I was constantly asked how things were and if I needed anything, but not so much that it was annoying. The food was great and the atmosphere is real nice. Gotta check this place out, its well worth it.
