What People Are Saying About Bostonian Society

In Short – Since 1713, when the Old State House was built to house the government offices of the Massachusetts Bay Colony, its life has been anything but quiet (the Declaration of Independence was first proclaimed from the balcony in 1776). Today, this important stop on the Freedom Trail is maintained by the Bostonian Society. The extensive library and museum collections follow the evolution of Boston from its settlement through the American Revolution to the present.
