Best Place to Find Something Special, Different, and Handmade

Whippoorwill is definitely a place to visit while you are in Boston. Everything is hand made and the friendly skilled staff is excellent and informed. I always receive soooo many compliments when ever I wear my jewelry from this store. It's not something you can just find anywhere and because it's handmade it's special. They do have a wide range of prices so you can own handmade jewelry that is different and unique and won't break your budget! They also have everything from pottery, glass, whimsical dragons, and much much more. It's much more than just a store...it's like stepping into a whole other world of imagination! They are always getting new artists and different things in so you never know what can be found there. If you are looking for something different, unique, and handmade...this is the place to go!

Beautiful And Distinctive Art Crafts

If you are looking for a unique gift or just something for yourself this is the place to go! Whippoorwill has a wide range of work by high quality crafts people - something that is hard to find. As an artist I am often looking for distinctive pieces - I don't like to give gifts that can be found anywhere and look just like what everyone else has. (And OK, I confess, I like to buy cool things for myself too.) I know I can find what I am looking for at this store. In addition to the great stuff, the staff is very friendly and helpful. What could be better? Great stuff and good people!

Wonderful products and awesome service

I first found Whippoorwill on the web when I was looking for a site that sold a particular artist's work. I was a graduate student finishing my PhD at the time. The website was easy to navigate and I found what I was looking for right away. Within a day of emailing the store with questions, I was corresponding with Karen, the store owner, and she was fantastic. My order was customized to suit me and Karen oversaw the whole process.

After that I used the site even when there were local Texas companies that sold the same items because I trusted Karen to look after the quality of the products I was ordering.

In 2006 I moved to Australia, and it was several years since I had ordered anything from Whippoorwill. However, the artist that caused me to first discover Whippoorwill came out with some new figures. I contacted Karen and she not only remembered me, but answered my email while on vacation! Again, she worked with me to make sure I got the very best product and then changed her shipping policy to include Australia so that I was able to order from the website!

I will continue to use Whippoorwill and highly recommend the site to anyone who is interested in purchasing artist's work on the web.
