Worst Dining Experience!!.
We had dinner tonight and I can honestly say that it was the worst dining experience! It started with a very rude hostess and went downhill from there. The food was horrible, the service wasn't anything to write home about. We took the babies shirt off so that he wouldn't get pizza sauce all over it, mind you we do this at most restuarants and it has NEVER been an issue, the manager came to our table and told us that we would have to put shirt back on because it was in violation of a health code.
I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT!
Ames plough tavern. Not too shabby. Basement bar. Only downfall, last call is at.
Nothing fancy but for Faneuil Hall, this is the closest thing to a secret. Shhh, don't tell anybody..
In Short
Located downstairs in a cozy basement the Plow has the advantage of being smaller than most of the other bars in the Quincy Market area, which can make it a little more relaxing. There are plenty of stools and high tables and a bar-food menu. On weekends, when every other bar is jammed with glassy-eyed drunks shoving through the crowds, this cozy little joint is often overlooked.
